The Truma name has been associated with caravans and motorhome accessories since Philipp Kreis established the company in Germany in 1949. In 2019 Truma expanded its presence in Australia to focus more strongly on the needs of local customers.
Truma Heaters
The first Truma gas heater in 1961 was the first officially recognised caravan heater, making winter road trips possible for the first time. Since then, the company has expanded to supply a wide range of Truma heaters especially for caravans and motorhomes.
Truma Combi heaters combine both water and air heating capabilities in one appliance and can be operated in gas, electric, diesel or mixed mode. Another Truma heater, the VarioHeat is an especially compact heater for recreational vehicles and can be used as the main heater or an additional heater in larger vehicles.
