How can I adjust the charger to charge different chemical batteries?
The DIP switch concept is included into the DC-DC battery charger. There are 5 dip switches that need setting based on the profile of the battery. Please refer to the manual for the correct setting for each profile.

Do I need to connect the included D+ ignition cable?
The D+ igntion cable is necessary to install as the Dc-Dc charger will not power on until it detects the 12v source from the vehicles alternator. This is also to prevent the Dc-Dc chargerfrom drain the start battery when the vehicle is not running.
