Smart Phone Monitoring System
The Enerdrive ePOWER B-TEC battery incorporates wireless Battery Monitoring Technology. By downloading the Android™ or Apple® app to your smartphone or tablet device, you can monitor the following information;
Battery Capacity | Battery Voltage | Battery Current (Amps) |
Battery State of Charge (SOC) | Battery State of Health (SOH) | Battery Status |
Individual Cell Voltage | Battery Temperature | Battery Cycles |
Battery Alarms | Battery Event Information |
Battery Management System
The battery is also equipped with an internal LiFePO4 Battery Management System (BMS) that can monitor and optimize each Prismatic cell within the battery during normal operation. It will protect the battery pack from over charge, over discharge, over temperature & short circuit. The BMS helps to ensure safe and accurate operation of the battery.
Size & Weight Savings
Lithium v AGM Capacities;
-
200Ah Lithium = 360Ah AGM
(Based on standard depth of discharge for both Lithium (80%) and AGM (50%).
The ePOWER B-TEC battery provides 60% more usable power than its equivalent lead acid cousin and being nearly 50% lighter and 30% smaller makes for a superior alternative.
The ePOWER B-TEC battery is perfect for camper trailers, 4WD’s (AUX battery), caravans, small water craft, low power communication sites or any other application that requires the use of a single deep cycle battery that meets the amp hour capacity.
Please Note: The B-TEC battery is capable to be paralleled to a second B-TEC battery of the same size. For maximum performance and lifespan of your B-TEC battery, no more than 2 batteries should be connected together to increase your overall capacity. Overall loads when paralleled should not exceed the current limits of a single batteries BMS.

Product Q&A
-
Why is the Enerdrive 200Ah so much more expensive than the 100Ah?
Firstly, the 200Ah manages to hold more current in a smaller and lighter package. The 200Ah also is the B-Tec range, which has built in Bluetooth capabilities. The 200ah also has benefits in being able to power higher draw products, as it has a higher discharge rating.
-
Is the 200 lithium compatible with a redarc 30 management system
Hi There, Yes the Redarc chargers and management system are compatable with this battery.
Cheers

Can I connect the Enerdrive B-tec Lithium Batteries in Parallel or in series?
Hi there,
You cannot connect any of the EnerdriveB-TEC batteries in series. You can however connect up to two only of the same size (ah) B-TEC batteries in Parallel. Enerdrive recommend that you only do this if you don't over load the max current of the internal BMS board from ONE OF THE BATTERIES.
Example. If you connect 2 x 200Ah B-TEC batteries then do not draw more than 200A of DC current from that battery bank, as one (1) single 200Ah B-TEC battery is only capable of handling 200A DC.
The main aim of connecting two (2) of the Enerdrive B-TEC batteries is not to increase your maximum DC current output, but to double your storage capacity.
Double the storage equals double the time you can stay powered up and off the grid.
Be sure to always consult the Enerdrive user manuals for correct cable sizing, fuse sizing and wiring diagrams.
We now sell an Enerdrive battery bundle with a parallel kit - please CLICK HERE to find it.

With charge capabilities of 0°-45° does the btec battery have built in protection to stay within these perameters? Or does the Enerdrive dcdc40 charger have these protections built in to safeguard the battery?
Hi There,
The BMS built in to the battery has over temperature protection.
It would be up to the user to make sure the battery is installed in an area where it should not be subject to temepratures under 0C and over 45C when being charged.
-
HiIn your specs you mention the 200 amp 12v lithium battery to be 265mm high.Does this include the cradle base height? Thanks
Hi There,
The measurements for the battery are as follows:
Without Tray & Strap - 505mm x 173mm x 265mm
With Tray & Strap - 505mm x 176mm x 276mm

How many cells are in the Enerdrive 200Ah Btec Battery
There are 32 (4P x 8S) Prismatic Cells in the 200Ah Btech Battery
-
It is possible to connect an EPL-200Btec Slim and 200Btec in parallel?
Unfortunately due to the variations in the internal BMS boards one can't parallel a normal 200BTec with a 200BTec Slim.
-
How many cells are in the Enerdrive 200Ah Btec Battery?
There are 32 (8x 4) Prismatic Cells in the 200Ah Btech Battery.
-
What size generator should I use for charging a battery?
The below generators are the minimum recommend sizes based on an AVR generator:
● 800VA 2KVA
● 1200VA 2.5KVA
● 1600VA 3KVA
● 3000VA 5KVA
● 5000VA 8KVA
If your generator is smaller than the recommended size for your inverter/charger, you will definitely need to adjust the settings on the inverter/charger and reduce the AC input current limit, and/or a DC charge current limit to prevent overloading the generator. If you do want an inverter based generator get one that is at least 30% larger than required than an equivalent AVR based model to help prevent overloads.
-
Can these chargers take solar input?
No, the battery charging component is an AC input, meaning only AC power (mains power) can charge through this unit.
-
How can I remotely monitor and control my devices?
You need a GX device to get remote monitoring. We recommend the Cerbo GX and an RJ45 UTP cable to connect it to the inverter. You can hardwire an ethernet connection to the unit, or connect it to a Wifi signal.
-
Can I series connect B-TEC batteries to achieve higher voltage?
No. Enerdrive oers higher voltage Lithium solutions - contact us for details.
-
Can I use an Inverter with my B-TEC battery?
Yes. Refer to Section 4 of the manual for more detail.
-
Can I install the B-TEC battery in a wet area?
No. Due to the construction of the B-TEC cases the batteries must be installed in a dry environment to protect against moisture ingress.
-
Can I parallel B-TEC batteries?
The short answer is yes. The long answer is - make sure the link cables are of the same size or greater than your load/charging requirements and no more than 4 batteries in parallel.
With low to medium current draw installations (the vast majority of applications) you may never see an issue and your storage capacity will be greatly increased - I.E. 2 x 200 Amp = 400 Amp capacity. When installing, fully charge the batteries separately - then let sit for 30 minutes before connecting together. When connecting in parallel - take the positive from Battery 1, and the negative from Battery 2 to your system as per the diagram below.
The Smart Phone App will only show the information from one battery at a time - not both. This is another advantage of a separate Battery Monitor - it will show the total system environment.
*Note: Slight variance of State of Charge or Amps may occur between the batteries in parallel however these should not vary by more than 5%. It is recommend that annually the batteries be disconnected and individually charged allowing them to sit at a fully charged state for 12hrs each before connecting back together.
-
Can I install the B-TEC battery on its side or end?
No. Please note that the 12V 200Ah SLIM B-TEC Battery features a wider range of acceptable mounting orientations - please refer to the diagram below for guidance.
