Yes, a solar blanket can be used with a lithium battery. However, it’s important to ensure that the solar regulator or charge controller is compatible with lithium batteries, as some PWM controllers may not be suitable.

2. What's the difference between Mono & Polycrystalline solar cells?
The differences between poly and mono solar panels are negligible for caravan rooftop applications. The most important thing is to get a well-constructed panel from a quality brand and get the right size for your application.

3. What is the advantage of using 2 x 24V 200W solar panels with an MPPT controller for a 12V battery system, compared to using cheaper 2 x 12V 180W solar panels?
The 24V panels have a slight advantage in low light conditions, i.e. early morning and late arvo (a few amp hours extra charge per day) You will also have 80W more in total (800W vs 720W).
