The 3kva Engel shows that it is electric start and easy pull start. Where does electric start button live please, on the unit or on a key fob?Regards Jeff

The electric start button is built in to the rotary switch on the front of the generator.

The engine will be an OEM engine, and not branded.

Hi guys, I've just received my new engel 3kva generator it works great easy to start from the recoil pull start, is there a trick for the electric start as my button doesn't seem to do anything thanks
Hi There,
To start you need to make sure the battery has been connected. These generators are not sent out with the battery connected.
Please follow the steps on page 37 in the manual for this process. Once you have done this the electric start should function per the steps on page 18 in ther manual.
