Hyundai HY10000LEK 10kVA AVR Petrol Portable Generator with Electric Start, 1 Year Warranty. The HY10000LEK is a powerful yet easily portable 8.0kW / 10kVa* open frame generator from Hyundai. Designed for both home and commercial use the HY10000LEK is powered by the new 457cc single cylinder Hyundai 4-Stroke engine. This is one of the most powerful single cylinder petrol generator on the market.

Extremely Reliable: Built for the most demanding of jobs the HY10000LEK is an extremely reliable generator, the single cylinder 459cc 4-stroke OHV air cooled engine generates a max power of 8kW.
Built-In Wheel Kit: Weighing only 94kg, the HY10000LEK is easy to maneuver thanks to its built-in wheel kit, rugged open frame and folding handles.
Smooth Output: The Hyundai AVR alternator keeps the voltage output smooth, within +/- 3% of 230V. However, the AVR alternator is also rugged enough to handle the harsh demands of power tools and building site equipment and both The HY10000LEK is an all-round workhorse.
Low Noise Technology: Using the latest low noise engine technology, the HY10000LEK produces only 70 dBA @ 7m.
Digital Display: The onboard digital display meter displays hours run, maximum voltage, and frequency. By making it easy to know when a service on the machine is due, you can be confident that you will get many years of use and will not cause harm to the unit, by missing a service.
Key Start: When storing your generator for a long period of time, we recommend you either run the engine dry of fuel (run until the engine cuts out due to no fuel) or use a fuel additive to prevent the petrol from ‘going off’. Modern unleaded petrol, when left for long periods can congeal and clog the carburetor, it also loses its combustible properties and can cause problems starting in the future.
Sockets: Fitted with 1 x 15Amp 240v, 1 x 32Amp 240V sockets to end facing control panel, to minimise damage to sockets when wheeling generator through narrow gaps and doorways.
Highly Versatile: Suitable for industrial and home use the HY10000LEK is a highly versatile open frame generator ideal for powering power tools, compressors, welders, lighting rigs, garages, mobile workshops, or sensitive home equipment such as laptops, sound systems, and TVs.

Would this generator run a automotive mid rise scissor lift ? Happ 11

Hi Ian,

The specs we have found state that it runs from a 15A single phase power supply.

This generator provides more than enough power to run the scissor lift based on the above spec.
I have a swim spa which needs s 32 amp supply on start up and less for running around 20 amp. Has 2 pump's heat and jets.

Would this generator run a Lincoln 191c MIG welder?

Hi There, The welder manufacturer recommend a minimum 10KVA generator. We would go for something slightly bigger to be on the safe side around 12kva

It may actually be a little too large for just those appliances. We would suggest looking at the smaller 6.5kVA model.

Will it run 250 amp migwelder using 30 meter extension lead

For a 250A welder we would recommend a 15kVA generator. 10kVA would be too small to run the welder at full amps.
can the generator be installed with alarger peterol tank

They only come standard with a 25L fuel tank.
