Stay In Control with A PWM Solar Charge Controller
With a PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) Solar Charge Controller, the current is drawn out of the panel at just above the battery voltage. A PWM controller is not as efficient as an MPPT controller but is still a great low-cost choice for smaller systems and for when the efficiency of the system is not critical. They are best for warm sunny weather and perform at their best when the battery is near the full state of charge. When batteries are full, a PWM solar charge controller will supply a tiny amount of power to keep the batteries full.
How To Choose the Right PWM Solar Charge Controller?
Get your combined wattage of your solar system and divide by the max power voltage of your solar system (which is 18V for a 12V panel). Our wide range of PWM Solar Charge Controllers makes it easy to find the right one for your needs and budget. Shop our range of PWM Solar Charge Controllers today.
