This is our second extension collar and our most often used configuration is with two collars and the flat lid - 55l we use this layered- frozen at the bottom etc. works well. As the contents of the fridge get used we sometimes remove one or both collars to save on power. We are running the fridge on solar only, through an 85ah AGM battery. Ok but I’ll be upgrading it to 100ah soon enough as we are often discharging to 50%. But our trips are only about 7 to 10 days at a time.
