Crommelins Diesel Yanmar Drive Unit & 2" Submersible Pump, 5.5hp, 2 Year Warranty.
This Submersible Pump kit includes three components:
5.5hp Crommelins Diesel Drive Unit (DU53D)
This 5.5hp Diesel Drive Unit will drive 2" (50mm) Submersible Flexible Drive Pumps such as Crommelins FP2T model. It can also drive Concrete Vibrators. It comes complete with a heavy duty roll frame to protect it from damage and is backed by Crommelins award winning spare parts and service. The Diesel model is also suitable for mine applications where petrol is not allowed and can be equiped with fire extinguisher, full bunding, electric start, emergency safety stop and features that OHS require for your mine-site.
2" Crommelins Cast Iron Submersible Flexible Drive Pump (FP2T)
The FP2T Flex. Pump is a very popular heavy duty 50mm (2”) industrial pump with large 15mm core dry cable which provides wider access and easier flow.
It is made with cast iron casing with wide passages to allow debris (up to 25mm) to pass through and can allow fluids containing up to 60% solids. The main shaft is made from corrosion resistant high quality 316 stainless steel.
Attached to a Drive Unit, these pumps will do a variety of jobs in agricultural, construction and mining applications.
20 metre 2" layflat hosing with camlock both ends
This 2 inch hose kit includes: 20 metre layflat hosing which comes with camlock fitting at each end (inlet & outlet) and camlock pumps fittings

Hi, for starting the drive unit, any advice on dealing with the choke?
Hi there, please see starting steps below and references to dealing with choke:
STARTING
- Open fuel tap.
- Set the speed control lever to the starting position.
- Close the choke lever of the carburettor (leave the choke lever half-open position during
- warming up the engine – petrol engine only).
- Pull the recoil starter strongly.
- After the engine has started open the choke lever fully and warm up the engine for 2-3 minutes in the low speed position.
