Dunlite 100kVA Tractor Generator. Tractor pacs are power-take-off driven alternators that couple to most brands of tractors. They are fitted with a splined shaft for an input speed of approximately 400 rpm.

Hi, how do i calculate what size tractor engine is required to run a specific size of PTO generator?
The general rule is that you multiply the kva by 1.25 to give a minimum engine Horse Power rating to run the generator.
For example: 60kva x 1.25 = 75HP. In this instance you would need a tractor engine that produces a minimum of 75HP to run a 60kva three phase PTO generator.
The generator uses a 3 to 1 gear box and draws 500rpm from the PTO.
