Very pleased with the slide. Fitted it in the back of a duel cab to hold a 70Ltr big ugly yellow box powered up via anderson plug or ArcPac when stationary. The slide does not extend past the tailgate as expected but it still has made life a little easier to access the fridge. loved the idea that

The product is well priced and well made however, for me, as a fridge slide it is virtually useless. It doesn't extend far enough. The concept of "one size fits all" is very good but on reflection, the drawbacks are obvious I bought this unit to mount into the back of a station w

  • For RFE82-FF & RFB110-FF, the bung end must be at the front of the fridge slide.
  • For TMDZ80 & TMDZ95: If your fridge doesn’t have an Anderson style plug as standard and only has a regular 12V plug, you will need to raise the fridge to accommodate access to the 12V plug.
  • The above suggested compatibility is for standard fibreglass builds only.

  • How much height will the Evakool Fridge Slide add to the overall height of my portable fridge?

    The Overall height of the fridge slide is 90mm, but with your fridge mounted on the slide it will only add an extra 65mm to the overall height.

  • I have a 60 litre Evakool fridge which I would like to mount a on fridge slide in the Hilux. The issues are I''m vertically challenged and the Hilux has a 2 inch lift so there is an access issue. Will your slide extend pass the tailgate or do you sell

    You will find that most fridge slides will not extend very far past  the end tailgate unfortunately.

    We also do not currently have a drop drown slide that would extend past the tailgate and drop drown.

Very pleased with the slide. Fitted it in the back of a duel cab to hold a 70Ltr big ugly yellow box powered up via anderson plug or ArcPac when stationary. The slide does not extend past the tailgate as expected but it still has made life a little easier to access the fridge. loved the idea that I did not have to research what slide would fit what fridge, given the vintage of our unit. Would be ideal for a tray back not a style side like ours.

Not Good Review by
The product is well priced and well made however, for me, as a fridge slide it is virtually useless. It doesn't extend far enough. The concept of "one size fits all" is very good but on reflection, the drawbacks are obvious I bought this unit to mount into the back of a station wagon type vehicle to use with an 80l Evakool Glacier fridge. To adapt this slide to fit my fridge, I had to unwind the rack and this extends the rack back into the vehicle and makes it a fair bit longer than the slide when it is folded. When the slide is then extended, almost half of the fridge is still in the vehicle and this means that I cannot open the lid of the fridge as it doesn't clear the inside of the vehicle because the slide does not extend enough. This means it is totally useless to me and if I had not destroyed the original packing, I would have sent it back asked for a refund. A very disappointing purchase but I guess I should have reviewed dimensions and operating details better, to start with. I hope you can understand what I am trying to say ??
