Powerlite Honda 8 KVA Generator, with 2 Wire Auto Start Controller. 

Built and tested in Australia, by one of Australia's leading manufacturer of portable generator sets; Powerlite. The generator is powered by a reliable Honda IGX390 4-stroke engine and delivers a max output of 8kVA and  a continuous output of 6800 watts. This tough model is a popular generator for automatic back up to off grid solar applications.

PRIMARY APPLICATION FOR THIS GENERATOR:

1) Backup to Off-Grid Solar: For backup power to off-grid solar systems, this generator requires a Powerlite Deep Sea 2-Wire Auto Start Controller - supplied with generator package. This controller connects between your Powerlite generator and your solar system for automatic charging of your solar batteries when battery charge is low. A qualified solar installer / electrician is required to undertake the install and connection. 

ACCESSORY: POWERLITE DEEP SEA 2 WIRE AUTO START CONTROLLER REQUIRED FOR SOLAR SYSTEM BACKUP

The generator is designed to be able to integrate either of the above accessories depending on your specific automatic backup requirement. Other optional extras include AVR (automatic voltage regulation), Wheel & Handle Kit, Weatherproof Outlets + Earth Leakage Protection. This model now comes with a larger fuel tank for longer running capacity: 12.5 litre fuel tank for almost 5 hours running time. This model also comes with 2 x 15 Amp outlets so it can also be used as a standard generator to run your tools and equipment up to 8kVA.  Low oil protection is fitted and the unit is built in a tough fully welded frame complete with heavy duty anti-vibration mounts for smooth operation.
