Manual Transfer Switch kit to suit Briggs and Stratton Q6500 inverter generator. The Manual Transfer Switch kit allows you to easily connect a portable generator to a business/dwelling in the event of a power outage. We have completed the 'kit' which is comprised of an IP66 15amp inlet, an IP66 32amp inlet (electrician will determine which to use when onsite - based upon the size of the generator the customer owns), and a 3 position switch (mains/off/generator) that is fitted into the meter board. Use electricity from your portable generator to power lights and selected items (such as refrigerators) in your home through a single inlet.

Must be fitted by a qualified electrician and subsequent inspection if deemed necessary. Once installed by a licensed electrician, you will be able to use any portable generator for back up power to the home without the ongoing costs of a dedicated back-up generator.

would this switch be compatable with the briggs and stratton P3000?

Yes it would be compatible with the P3000.

Your electrician would install the 15A inlet in your switchboard.
Can this be used on a house with 3 phase power if your light and power circuits are spread over the 3 phases?

This is a single phase switch.

It would only work with one of the phases.
