Product Description

Renogy 100W 12V Black Division Lightweight Flexible Monocrystalline Solar Panel, 5 Year Warranty. The Renogy 100W Black Division Lightweight Solar Panel enhances module efficiency while minimizing its weight. It is the perfect option for any off-grid solar system, especially for transportation applications such as RVs and boats. This solar panel frame features a lightweight substrate and laminate, perfect for outdoor applications.

This solar panel combines high efficiency (PERC) monocrystalline solar cells with half-cut cell technology to improve electrical performance and power generation efficiency. This panel comes with pre-drilled mounting holes, solar connectors, and a junction box that allows easy and fast installation.

Features:

  • High Power Output: The Renogy Black Division 100W Lightweight Solar Panel can provide an average of 500 Watt-hours of electricity per day (depending on sun availability).

  • Easy to Transport, Carry and Install: The solar panel suits most curved surfaces as it is bendable within 240 degrees. It weighs only 1/3 of the rigid panel and presents an all-black glare-free appearance.

  • Industry-leading Tech: It is equipped with half-cut PERC cell technology that enhances solar light capture and electrical performance, therefore improving the output efficiency.

  • Reliable & Durable: This solar panel accomplishes with IP67 rated waterproof junction box and solar connectors. Withstand up to 5400 Pa of heavy snow load and up to 2400 Pa of high wind.

  • Ready for Installation: The panel comes with pre-drilled mounting holes and 2.3 feet long solar connector cables for quick and easy installation.

Product Q&A

Ask Us a Question
  • How do I fix this to my roof? (MYG)

The panel has 6 eyelids, otherwise you can use a VHB double sided to secure to the roof.

  • What is required to finish my off-grid solar power setup?

A solar panel has to be connected to a charge controller to regulate current, and a battery to store the electrical power. You will need cable running from the panel to the regulator, then cable from the regulator to the battery.

  • What does it mean to be off-grid and on-grid?

On-grid simply means solar power equipment (array or solar panel) is connected to the electrical grid, while off-grid refers to systems that are not connected to the grid and therefore store the generated power for later use. Off-grid systems are not affected by grid blackouts, or more commonly for us when caravanners or campers don't stay at powered Caravan sites.

  • Why is the output from my solar panel low?

There are several reasons why solar panel performance could be compromised. Reduced power production is typically caused by environmental factors such temperature rise, overcast skies, indirect sunlight, and dirt and stain accumulation on the top glass.

  • In my electrical circuit, how should I connect the solar panels in series or parallel?

It will depend on your needs from the panels. Connecting panels is parallel will increase the overall wattage and amps, whereas connecting panels in series will increase the voltage. You will be best consulting an auto electrician to determine what is going to be best suited for your setup. Most more basic setups will run panels in parallel to the limit of the solar regulator.

  • How many panels do I require?

Determining the power load your system requires is the easiest approach to determine how many solar panels you need. If you are able to work out how much power you use, you can then get an idea on solar panels and what size regulator you'll need to match the panels.

  • Will I be able to walk on flexible solar panels?

We wouldn't recommend you do. Walking on a solar panel can result in significant pressure in small areas, which could lead to cracks and damage to the panel.
