You would require a 12V DC connection to operate this hot water system.

Can I install the UltraRapid hot water system on my own?
No, this is a gas powered product that will need to be installed and certified by a qualified and licensed gas-fitter. If not properly and legally installed by a qualified and licensed gas-fitter - the warranty would be voided.
