• Hi, may I ask if one output can be used to charge the 2x120amp parallel linked Lithium house batteries, and another to charge the wet chassis battery? Thanks for your help

  Yes, the three outputs do allow you to use the charger in that situation.

  The charger can only run one charge algorithm, so you do need to pick one that is suitable for both battery types, which may not be ideal for both batteries.

  In this case we would set the charger up as required for the Lithium batteries. If the wet chassis battery is not charged periodically with another source, such as an alternator, then we would recommend periodically charging it separately. They typically required higher voltage charging.

   

• HII have the IP22 12/30 {3} charger used for charging lithium and lead acid batteries.The lithium battery can be charged at up to 50A. If I use only one of the 3 outputs does it charge at 10A or 30A. If each output charges at only 10A , can I parallel

  When using a three-output charger, all three of the outputs are capable of delivering 30A (with a maximum combined total of 30A).

   

  • If only one output is connected, it can deliver the full 30A.
  • If two outputs are connected with batteries that are equally flat, then they would deliver 15A each. Etc.
