DID YOU KNOW? These load bars can be used as slats in a similar width Slimline II Roof Rack. When you buy Front Runner Load Bars you are one step closer to owning a Front Runner Slimline II Roof Rack!
The t-slots on the tops and bottoms of the slats accommodate standard 8mm bolts.
To determine the approximate height from your vehicle’s roof to the top of your Load Bar Kit, add the height of the Load Bar (22mm/ 7/8") to the height of the Foot or Grab-On Foot Foot listed above.
If your Load Bar kit uses Legs, add the height of the Load Bar (22mm/ 7/8") to the height of the Legs listed above to determine the height of the rack from your vehicle’s rain gutters.
If your Load Bar kit uses Foot Rails, add the height of the Load Bar (22mm/ 7/8") to the height of the Foot Rails listed above to determine the height of the rack from the crown (highest point) of the vehicles roof.

Product Q&A
-
I have heard that roof racks/platforms have different on road and off-road rating. What is the load rating for the Front Runner roof racks?
Great question! Front Runner Outfitters will always have the same on road and off-road load rating on all their roof racks.
However, there are certain weight you will need to consider with any platform/roof rack:
- What is your load capacity of your car roof?
- What is the load rating of the roof rack/platform?
- What is the weight of the roof racks/platform?
- What is the weight of everything you want to add on your racks/platform?
So, for example:
If we use the 2011 Toyota Prado 150 Series as an example vehicle. The roof load rating is 100kg. If you choose to buy the Front Runner Slimline II Roof Rack (KRTP011T), it weighs 32kg. Therefore, you will have 68 kg left of your roof load rating, which means you can continue to load your roof rack with an additional 68kg
-
What is the load rating of the Toyota Tundra (2007-Current) Load Bed Load Bars Kit (KRTT951T)?
The Toyota Tundra (2007-Current) Load Bed Load Bars Kit (KRTT951T) can take up to 100kg (220lbs) evenly dispersed over 2 load bars.We recommend referring to the vehicle manufactures guide as to what would be a safe load rating for your particular vehicle.
